We designed, planned, and developed StoreWatch, a service that improves operational efficiency for retail stores by installing sensors (cameras) to count visitor numbers and more.
We were responsible for everything from identifying the required features and screen design through to creating the design mockups. Beyond simply collecting data, we designed a "cycle" system that supports goal-setting and retrospectives, helping stores analyze their data more effectively.
For the screens showing graphs of visitor counts and their attributes, we designed a color scheme that's easy to see even for people with color vision differences, while presenting a large amount of information clearly through easy-to-use filtering.
We took complex data and distilled it concisely within the limited screen space of a smartphone, achieving a level of clarity that busy store staff can check at a glance during their day.
